Barber in Currambine

Currambine opened as our second location after years of running the original on Cockman Road. We took the spot in the Delamere Avenue shopping complex because the northern coastal corridor was missing what Greenwood had been offering since day one — a proper barber shop, not a chain, not a salon doing men's haircuts on the side. The fitout matches the original: dark timber, leather chairs, mirrors lit by warm tungsten. Same Reuzel and Layrite on the shelf, same Wahl Magic Clips on the counter, same pre-shave oil. Just newer concrete underfoot.

The shop runs lean — usually two or three barbers at a time, the same faces week to week. Free parking right outside in the shopping complex, no waiting-room theatrics, walk-ins fitted in around bookings when there's a gap. If you've moved up the line from Joondalup, or you're new to the area and looking for a barber who'll cut you the same way every fortnight, that's what this shop is for.

Currambine sits at the rail-line meeting point between the inland Joondalup catchment and the coastal Kinross–Burns Beach corridor, which means we draw clients from both directions. Joondalup is 5 minutes south down Marmion Avenue or Joondalup Drive — most regulars combine the cut with a stop at Lakeside Joondalup. Kinross is north on Marmion, Iluka further along the coast. Burns Beach and Ocean Reef clients come in via the coastal road or off the Mitchell Freeway exits.

Connolly to the south is a 6-minute trip; Mullaloo further down the coast; Edgewater sits east along the Joondalup rail line — a few Edgewater clients walk to the train and ride one stop straight to Currambine station rather than drive. Clarkson and Mindarieto the north are 8–12 minutes via the freeway. We also see regulars from Hillarys, Padbury, Heathridge and Whitfords — anyone within the northern coastal corridor who'd rather drive 10 minutes for a cut that's done right than take whatever's available locally.
