Our Services

Professional barbering and grooming services at our Greenwood location.

Available at both Greenwood and Currambine. Performed by our expert team of barbers.

    Skin Fade

Our signature service. The skin fade is taken all the way down to bare scalp at its lowest point, with a seamless blend up into the longer hair on top. Maximum contrast, sharpest finish — and the cut that built our reputation across Greenwood and Currambine.

    Skin Fade

The signature skin fade. Your barber starts with a longer guard at the top of the fade line and steps down through #2, #1, and #0.5 before finishing the lowest section with a foil shaver or T-blade so the hair blends into bare scalp without a visible line. The result is a sharp, contemporary cut with maximum contrast between the longer hair on top and the clean skin below. Best for clients who want the cleanest possible finish and can commit to a fortnightly visit — pushed past three weeks the bare-skin section shadows over and the cut starts to lose its edge. Suits most face shapes; a high skin fade in particular flatters round faces by adding vertical length. Allow 30 to 45 minutes.

Skin Fade & Beard Line up

The full polished look in one chair. Your barber finishes the skin fade first, then defines clean cheek lines, neck lines, and lip lines on the beard using clippers and a straight razor. The beard isn't shortened — only the perimeter is sharpened, so the length you've grown stays intact. Best for clients with an established beard who want the visual consistency of matching skin-fade transitions and beard lines, or anyone who prefers to walk out with everything done. Allow 40 minutes to one hour depending on beard density.

Skin Fade & Deluxe Beard Line up + waxing

Our most complete service. Skin fade plus deluxe beard work — line-up, shaping along the jawline and moustache, density refinement — followed by nose and ear hair waxing for the cleanest possible finish. Wraps with a hot towel and balm to settle the skin. Best for clients prepping for weddings, photoshoots or any event where every detail needs to read sharp on camera, and for regulars who book a deluxe session every six to eight weeks to reset everything at once. Allow a full hour.

    Fade

A traditional guarded fade. Sides taper from longer hair on top down to a #1 or #0.5 guard around the natural hairline — never reaching skin. More forgiving than a skin fade, holds its shape for longer, and the better choice if you can't commit to fortnightly visits.

    Fade Cut

A classic fade where the lowest point sits at a #1 or #0.5 guard rather than bare skin. Done well, the transition between guard lengths is invisible — the cut reads as a smooth gradient from the length on top to the short hair around the hairline. Best for clients who want a sharp look but prefer 3–4 week maintenance windows over fortnightly upkeep. Also the right call if you have thinning hair around the temples (the bare-skin section of a skin fade can read as more scalp showing through). A safe, flattering choice for any face shape and almost any hair type. Allow 25 to 30 minutes.

    Cut-throat Razor Fade

A fade where the lowest section is finished with a straight razor instead of clippers. The razor cleans up edges that clippers can't quite reach — around the ears, along the natural hairline, into the temple corners — producing the sharpest possible finish. The razor work follows the standard fade and adds about 10 minutes of chair time. Best for clients who want their cut to look freshest in photos and on camera, or for anyone whose hair grows fast around the lowest fade point — the razor edge holds noticeably longer than a clipper-only finish. Allow 40 minutes.

    Haircuts

Fades aren't for everyone. These are the cuts for clients who want a polished, traditional finish without a tapered side, or who want softer, scissor-led texture on top.

    Classic Cut

A traditional men's haircut: scissors work on top, a clipper-and-comb finish on the sides and back, with the sides held at one consistent length rather than gradiating. No fade. The cut every man should know how to ask for, regardless of what's trending. Best for clients who want a clean, conservative look that grows out gracefully over four to six weeks — ideal for office settings, professional services, or anyone who prefers their haircuts to read traditional rather than contemporary. Suits any face shape, any hair type. Allow 20 to 30 minutes.

Classic Cut & Beard Line up

Our Classic Cut paired with a beard line-up. After the haircut, your barber sharpens the cheek, neck and lip lines using clippers and a straight razor — the beard isn't shortened, only the perimeter is defined. Best if you're growing a beard and want the lines kept clean week-to-week, or if you've recently grown one and need shape brought into otherwise overgrown perimeter. Allow 40 minutes.

    Scissors Cut

An all-scissors cut with no clipper work — sometimes called a European cut or scissor-over-comb. The lengths are blended naturally without the geometric finish a clipper delivers, so the cut grows out without visible clipper lines or step-downs. Best for clients with longer or thicker hair that needs texture and weight removed rather than tight tapering, anyone who prefers a softer overall finish, or clients growing their hair out who still want professional shape every six to eight weeks. Allow 30 minutes.

    Kids Haircuts

Calm, patient cuts for kids of every age. We're parents too — we know what works at four and what works at fourteen, and we adjust the chair time, the tools, and the conversation accordingly.

    Kindy Cut (5 and under)

Designed for kids five and under. The chair is patient, the conversation is gentle, and we work around movement rather than fighting it. Both fade and classic options available — the classic keeps everything at scissor length for easier upkeep at home; the fade gives a sharper look for school photos and special occasions. We'll always check with the parent before any clipper work and use the lowest setting that achieves the look. Allow 20 minutes.

    Primary School Scissors Cut

Scissors-only cut for primary-school-aged kids (roughly six to twelve). We'll work with growth patterns, cowlicks and any tricky areas, and finish with light styling product if requested — taught lightly, so they can do it themselves before school. Allow 20 minutes.

    Primary School Fade

Fade-style cut for primary-school-aged kids. Available as a classic cut, standard guarded fade, or skin fade depending on what the child wants and how much regrowth the family wants to manage. Best for kids who've started caring about their look and want something that reads modern. We'll match the parent's brief if there's any question about how short to go. Allow 20 to 25 minutes.

    High School Fade

Fade-style cut for teens, available as a classic cut, guarded fade, or skin fade. Most common request: a mid skin fade with texture left on top — we'll execute it cleanly and explain the maintenance commitment if they're new to skin fades (every two weeks to keep the contrast sharp). Allow 25 to 30 minutes.

    Beard & Shaves

Traditional barber work outside the haircut. Whether you're maintaining an established beard, going fully clean, or coming in for the full hot-towel ritual, these services use the same straight-razor and hot-towel technique you'd find in a heritage shop.

    Cut-throat Razor Head Shave

A complete head shave using hot towels and a straight razor. The pre-shave includes hot-towel preparation and shave oil to soften the hair; the shave itself is multi-pass — first with the grain, then against — for a true bald-smooth finish. We close with aftershave balm to settle the skin. Best for clients fully committed to a shaved head and looking for the cleanest possible result, or for those with significant thinning who want to take the leap cleanly rather than buzz it down. Allow 30 minutes.

    Beard Trim

Maintenance and shaping for an existing beard. The standard Line Up sharpens cheek, neck and lip lines using clippers and a straight razor without removing meaningful length. The Deluxe Beard Line Up adds shaping work along the jawline and moustache, density refinement where the beard's grown unevenly, and a finishing hot-towel pass. Best booked every three to four weeks — past that, the lines blur and the beard starts reading unkempt. Pair with any haircut to get matching cheek-line and fade-line transitions. Allow 20 to 30 minutes.

    Hot Towel Shave

The traditional barber shave. Pre-shave oil, hot-towel preparation, lather, multi-pass straight-razor work (first with the grain, then against for the closest result), a second hot towel, and a balm finish. The Deluxe extends the hot-towel ritual at the start and end and adds a moisturising aftershave treatment. Best for clients who want the genuine old-school shave experience, or as a treat before an event — most clients book it the day before a wedding, function, or photoshoot. Allow 20 minutes for standard, 30 for Deluxe.

    Do you offer kids' haircuts?

Yes — kids' cuts start at $30 and use the same technique and care as our adult cuts. We're patient with first-timers and busy parents alike.

    What products do you use?

Premium professional-grade products: Reuzel, Layrite, Uppercut Deluxe, and similar. We'll recommend the right styling product for your hair type and finish at the chair.

Can you recommend a style for my hair type?

Every appointment starts with a brief consultation. We'll factor in your hair texture, density, growth pattern, face shape, and how often you can come back, then recommend a cut that holds its shape between visits.

Do you do hot towel shaves?

Yes — full hot towel shaves are $55 and include pre-shave oil, two hot towels, lather, straight-razor work, and a finishing balm. Allow 30 minutes.
